What are Google Search Ads?

Google Search Ads allows you to show your ads to users who are actively searching for the keywords that you’ve selected by participating in the “Ad Auction”. For example, if you own a small accounting firm, you “bid” to have your ad show up every time a user types in “Accountant in Auckland”.

As a result these “text ads” are an excellent opportunity for you to capture people who are at the research and purchasing stages of the digital sales funnel i.e. they are looking for an “accountant in Auckland”. Text ads are marked clearly with a small “Ad” tag next to the site URL.

  • Google Search is super effective in helping drive traffic to your website, which can result in increased leads and enquiries.
  • Google Search is cost effective, even with a low budget, as you only pay when people click on your ad.
  • Google Search has a very strong ROI because you only pay when people click on your ad.
  • Google Search is 100% measurable and trackable via Google Analytics so you can know exactly how much traffic, leads and conversions are being driven by the activity.
